Fall in the City

To start off, I used to live in New York City. To be honest, Fall was my favorite season for so many reasons. There's not many trees around to see the leaves falling, but it is still extremely pretty. After reading these posts, you will notice that I rave about every season in New York City, because NYC is great. Every time you go, you will love it. So to start off, the season Fall is from September 21 to December 21. But I will focus on October 11- the 18th. Temperatures for that week should range from 51- 65 degrees.  Expect sun, rain, and snow (towards December), September is still relatively warm but in December it gets cold. By Thanksgiving, it's cold. It could even snow! The hours of daylight is just like Spring. Around mid Fall, expect 12 hours of day and night. You should pack long pants and t-shirts. Also pack a jacket and sweatshirts. That should set you well. Precautions wise, there could be a Noreaster or a hurricane. Now for the activities to do. I would recommend going to a football game. Depending on how much you would like to spend, you can go to a pre-season game, which will be less money, or a normal season game. You can find the New York Giants schedule here. The schedule will be announced soon and when it is, check it and pick a game. Another great thing to do is to take a double decker tour bus around the city. Info can be found here. Lastly, a great thing to do is  to go to the top of the Empire State Building. The building is the tallest building standing in NYC. Just go to the building and get more info on it. Enjoy!
